HCI Browser: A Tool for Studying Web Search Behavior
We present a Mozilla Firefox extension called the HCI Browser that we are developing to support studies of how users find and refind information on the Web. The HCI Browser presents tasks to the user, collects browser event data as they search for information, records answers found, and administers preand post-task questionnaires.

In many fields of science, the quality and applicability of presented approaches heavily relies on experimental results. At the same time, such experiments are only described briefly and are typically boiled down to a single diagram or table. متن کاملUsability of Browser-Based Tools for Web-Search Privacy
Web search is currently a source of growing concern about personal privacy. It is an essential and central part of most users’ activity online and therefore one through which a significant amount of personal information may be revealed. متن کاملSAX: A Tool for Studying Congestion-Induced Surfer Behavior
User reaction to traffic congestion can have severe impact on network stability and significant implication for traffic engineering. For example, users who persist in large peer-to-peer transfers despite congestion can drive the network into congestion collapse. On the other hand, users who abort large transfers can smoothen self-similar traffic. We present a tool, called SAX, for studying cong...
